Overview

In the Summer of 2016, I went to Boston to film a video project with my Uncle.  He is a chef who does in-home visits to help the consumer of ovens get the best out of their appliances.  This was one of those home visits that I filmed.  However, we were never able to use this footage in ways we wanted, so I sat on the footage for a few years.  The kitchen was absolutely gorgeous.  We knew one day that it would be usable though, so that’s why I sat on it.

With the current pandemic, people are needing to get creative on how they can continue to do their business while social distancing.  Chef Kurt asked me to make a video demonstrating what he does usually in-home, but now over FaceTime or Zoom.  This was the perfect opportunity to finally use that footage from years ago, and then at the very end, I just set up a camera while FaceTiming him on a cutting board.  The client loved the result and it’s allowing for business to somewhat continue moving forward all while social distancing.
