Memorial Day Weekend is always a great holiday weekend to start off the summer. Of course, it’s a weekend where we remember and honor those who have fought and paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom here in the United States. I’m sure that we all know someone who has died while protecting our country – for these men and women I am ever grateful.

Memorial Day is also a day that is often filled with celebrations to kick off the Summer. With the weather warming up and the summer being on the horizon, it’s a time when many of us go to the beach, have BBQs, and enjoy the holiday weekend.

Memorial Day weekend is also an ideal wedding weekend for people in Virginia and all over the country.

This past weekend, I was filming a wedding down at Dover Hall outside of Richmond, VA. It was a beautiful Saturday for Kristin and Andrew as they tied the committed the rest of their lives to one another surrounded by their family and friends.

I’m excited to begin to edit their wedding scrapbook and tell the story of their magnificent wedding day, here are a few stills of the day in the meantime!
